David Rosen

Communications Officer on Regulatory Affairs for Public Citizen, the Clean Budget Coalition and the Coalition for Sensible Safeguards

David Rosen serves as communications officer on regulatory affairs for Public Citizen, the Clean Budget Coalition and the Coalition for Sensible Safeguards. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, David holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Tufts University as well as master’s degrees from George Washington University in both political management and political psychology. Early in his career, David served as a senior campaign strategist on a number of state legislative races around the country. In 2007, he moved to Washington, D.C. to manage the individual giving program for the Government Accountability Project. More recently, he worked as a messaging strategist at Media Matters and has vetted candidates for D.C.’s top political staffing firm. David is best known as the founder of First Person Politics, a public affairs consultancy that focuses on the strategic applications of political psychology.
