About the Symposium:
U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) delivered a major national address on the threat to public protections in the Trump era at a June 5 symposium hosted by the Coalition for Sensible Safeguards and Georgetown University Law School. The event featured two panels, one focusing on deregulatory actions at key federal agencies and the other highlighting individuals and communities that have suffered as a result of inadequate regulation and enforcement. Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh delivered the closing remarks.
