Leadership & Members
Founded in 2010, the Coalition for Sensible Safeguards is a national alliance of more than 200 consumer, labor, scientific, research, good government, faith, community, health, environmental, and public interest groups — representing millions of Americans.
The Coalition for Sensible Safeguards is led by an executive committee co-chaired by Public Citizen and Consumer Federation of America. The committee also includes the AFL-CIO, the Center for Progressive Reform, the Economic Policy Institute, the Natural Resources Defense Council, and the Union of Concerned Scientists.
